Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering & Research (PCCOE&R) was established in 2014 under the aegis of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET). Presently the Institute offers NBA accredited UG Programmes in four disciplines viz. Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, E&TC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and also offers Information Technology, BBA and BCA. PCCOE&R is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune and is approved by A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi, Govt. of Maharashtra, D.T.E, Mumbai. Recently the Institute has been accredited with A++ grade by NAAC in the very first cycle of accreditation. Institute is also An ISO 21001:2018 Certified. Right from its inception, PCCOER has adopted Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Student-centric approach. We work on a Four-Pillar Philosophy, the four pillars of our Institute being; Academic Excellence, Research & Innovation, Professional Competence and Social Commitment. Institute has experienced, dedicated and highly qualified faculty (40 PhD holders and 44 pursuing PhD), state-of-art infrastructure and an environment conducive to learning, research and innovation, which has culminated into PCCOE&R being among top Five Institutions in SPPU results. In a very short span from its commencement, PCCOER has produced 33 University Rankers. We strongly focus on research, innovation, product development, publication, patent and copyright filing, incubation and entrepreneurship. PCCOE&R is one of the pioneers in adopting Project Based Learning (PBL). In research, several milestones have been achieved by PCCOE&R within the first five years itself. World Records of India has awarded PCCOE&R a Certificate of Recognition for filing Maximum Number of Copyright Applications in a single day on 16th February 2018 and also for 38 Lady Faculties filing patents together on a single day on 17th December 2019. Principal, faculty members and even non-teaching staff members have thought innovatively and filed patents. Research and Intellectual Property (IP) are just second nature to PCCOER.
The first International Conference on Interdisciplinary Technology & Science Convergence (FusionX Global) which is about to grandly kick off, brings together top scholars, industry elites, and innovative pioneers from around the world, aiming to deeply explore the cutting-edge progress of science, engineering and technology and the latest achievements in the field of interdisciplinary. The theme of this conference is “Interdisciplinary Technology & Science Convergence". Through various forms such as keynote speeches, technical discussions, achievement exhibitions, and roundtable dialogues, an interdisciplinary exchange platform will be established to promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research. The conference will conduct in-depth exchanges on hot topics, and jointly exploring new trends, challenges, and opportunities in the field of science and engineering. In addition, the conference will also pay special attention to sustainable development and green energy solutions, promoting the industry towards a more environmentally friendly, efficient, and intelligent direction.
